Fun Coaching Drills for Softball Team

I coach a great group of 5 and 6 year old kids who love to have fun. Here is one of our favorite fun coaching drills for softball team–we held a competiton that we called the “Softball Olympics”.

Softball Practice Plans – Conditioning Drills

During off season our softball practice plans focus on conditioning drills. These are just two that are quick and effective. We especially like the ones that can be moved indoors when weather is not in our favor.

Basic Softball Drills – First Week of Practice

This is one of the basic softball drills that I do during my first week of softball practice. I find it is a perfect way to begin the season and puts everyone at the same level–your beginners as well as more experienced players can use this refresher.

Softball Throwing Drills – Three in One Drill

This is one of the softball throwing drills we use. I call this my three in one softball drill. It is a fun way for the players to work on throwing, hitting the cut off, and hitting and running.
