This is one of the [tag]fun softball drills[/tag] my players love. It’s an easy fun drill to end practice on.
Field of 9 each position. One runner or more depending on how many kids the team has.
The pitcher throws to the catcher, from there the catcher begins to throw around the horn ending at first base who then throws to center, center to right. right to left, left back to the catcher.
Now during all of this someone is running and she keeps running until she gets home. If the fielder drops the [tag]softball[/tag] they start over and the running team gets a point.
The object is to teach the kids how important accurate throws are.
