This double tee hitting drill focuses on keeping the club head nice and high until the batter gets ready to make contact. It is important that the barrel stays higher than the hands throughout the swing.

If the batter dips, drops their hands or has a lazy back wrist, the club head will hit the front ball. So the goal of this drill is to miss the first ball, and hit the second.

This hitting drill allows for a very little margin of error — if the batter dips the barrel even a half an inch, he/she is going to hit that ball that is on the back of the tee. This offers great feedback for the batter who is performing this drill independently.
