Karen and Lorie sent these [tag]softball[/tag] [tag]drills[/tag]   to me last week.   A great example of [tag]hitting drills for softball[/tag] that don’t require a coaching PhD to figure out.Hitting Drills for Softball

From Karen…

I’m a 14U [tag]fastpitch[/tag] softball team [tag]coach[/tag].
[tag]Batting coordination[/tag] drill.
Using a catching net, have two different colored small (golf ball size) wiffle balls.   Toss up one of each color at the same time, call out one color and the batter has to hit that color ball.

The girls get a kick out of it and they learn at the same time.

From Lorie…
For Batting practice we do the [tag]soft toss[/tag] drill only with a twist. We use golf ball-sized wiffle balls and miniature marshmallows to swing at instead.
(If you freeze the marshmallows they will last longer.)
