Take a look at this submission from Tom, one of my readers.   A great example of [tag]softball conditioning tips[/tag] that can work with all age groups.Softball Conditioning Tips

From Tom…
Here is the [tag]softball[/tag] [tag]drill[/tag] I use to make the warm up “take a lap” interesting and get a little extra out of it.

After [tag]stretching[/tag], I start all our players lined up, oldest to youngest at home plate.   They [tag]run[/tag] through first base one at a time and head down the line to a [tag]coach[/tag] standing in the [tag]outfield[/tag] on the right field line.   Each player runs toward center field and a coach throws a ball so the player has to make an over the shoulder catch. The player continues to run to center field where they stop and [tag]throw[/tag] the ball to a coach set up as the cut off man. The player continues to the left field foul line while a coach tosses a ball to them as they run in on it.

After the [tag]catch[/tag] the player continues to third where they toss their glove and ball on the ground and run towards home and make a leg first slide into home.
