Looking for [tag]softball hitting lessons[/tag]? You’ve come to the right place! Try out this idea below and let me know how it goes for you.
From Jason…
I have two [tag]softball[/tag] [tag]drills[/tag] that have worked well for me: I coach 10U and 12U teams.
1. Set up an L screen or net at second base. Have a [tag]coach[/tag] toss or hit fly balls to the [tag]outfielders[/tag]. They position themselves to [tag]catch[/tag] the ball then throw into second and try to [tag]hit[/tag] the screen or net.
2. The second [tag]drill[/tag] is one I mainly use for my pitchers but works for other positions as well. I set a softball on top of a [tag]batting tee[/tag] and set the tee on home plate. I then have my pitchers try to knock the ball off the tee without hitting the tee. This really makes the pitcher focus on location. You can move the tee around or up or down to simulate different pitch locations.
