Let me share one of my favorite [tag]softball[/tag] [tag]drills[/tag] especially with younger players.
I put a [tag]coach[/tag] at SS and 1B and line up all the girls at home. I hit the ball to SS and the girls HUSSLE to 1B.
Here is the [tag]drill[/tag], If she looks at the ball everyone runs the bases. If she doesn’t run through the base every one runs the bases. Both and everyone run twice around the bases.
This drill demonstrates individual mistakes let the whole [tag]team[/tag] down, and of course hussle.
There is nothing I admire more than a [tag]player[/tag] who when your down big, will beat out an [tag]infield[/tag] single.
