Purpose:

This drill warms up the upper body and helps the players focus on keeping their palm down following a wrist snap.

Players warm up with wrist snaps.

Setup:

Two players set up 8-10 feet apart from each other, and get on one knee (their glove side knee) with toes pointed slightly inward. Each pair should have a ball.

Instructions:

  1. Players put their glove under their throwing elbow.
  2. The first player wrist snaps the ball to the other, who catches it and wrist snaps it back.
