In today’s video blog post, we are talking a little bit about a great tool that you can use with the young kids. It’s called “Working In Sets”, and working in this manner allows your players to be more focused on hitting their intended target and work on their spot.
Softball Pitcher Conditioning: Working In Sets
“Working In Sets” means to take a time limit or a number of pitches, and you have your pitcher work variations of the pitch, such as Drop In, Drop Out, alternating. You can also give the pitcher one fix pitch option, which basically means if she throws a bad pitch, she has the opportunity to correct it, or no fix pitches.
